Thank you for trusting us for over 30 years as an abortion provider. We are committed to reliable, and trustworthy medical services for women. We are investing our resources to make the changes that will allow the Atlanta SurgiCenter to better serve women. The Atlanta SurgiCenter will continue to exhibit and spearhead excellence, competence and access to abortion and reproductive healthcare for women.

Experienced physicians, highly trained clinical staff, compassionate counselors, knowledgeable Phone Center and Business Office staff, these are the committed individuals who work for your right to choose in a safe and comfortable atmosphere.

Our Medical Director is a Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist with over 25 years experience. An acknowledged specialist in abortion medicine, he has helped pioneer techniques, which have rendered late second trimester abortion procedures safe. In addition, our Medical Director has an extensive private practice and maintains privileges at major hospitals in the metro Atlanta area.

Our outstanding team of ACLS Certified Nurse Anesthetists offer over 40 years of total clinical experience to our facility.

Atlanta SurgiCenter employs Registered Nurses all of whom have special training in abortion medicine. Our OR/Recovery Room and Lab Team are certified Medical Assistants who have received additional and specialized training in the care of abortion patients. The Ultrasound Technicians employed by the SurgiCenter are certified in ultrasound technology with specialized training in abortion medicine. Our Medical Doctor maintains oversight of the Ultrasound Department.

The members of the Counseling staff provide informed, non-judgmental, and compassionate counseling services. All counselors undergo a rigorous training course which emphasizes "patient" focused care. Each counselor is trained to accommodate and address the individual needs and issues surrounding an unplanned pregnancy and/or genetic anomaly. The counseling component is overseen by a former ASC counselor with a Masters Degree in Public Health.

At the Atlanta SurgiCenter, we're proud to be recognized as strong supporters of a woman's right to make her own decisions about every aspect of her reproductive health. We are members of the National Abortion Federation, the National Coalition of Abortion Providers, both the National and State affiliate of the Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League, and founding members of Georgians for Choice.
