Important Information for all patients:
Although all women have the right to choose in the State of
Georgia, Georgia Law requires that the following guidelines
be met and documented.
All the patients must provide legal proof of identity of age.
All patients must be offered the information provided for in
the "Womens Right To Know Act" of 2005 either
verbally or in writing. 24 hours must pass upon receipt of this
information and termination of the pregnancy. Printed materials
may be viewed at http://health.state.ga.us/wrtk/.
If you are 17 years of age
or younger, Georgia Law requires that your parent(s) be notified
BEFORE you can terminate your pregnancy. The Phone Counselor
will explain what is required to meet this requirement.
